So I’m now back from holidays (I was on an island for about 10 days) and not having access to Facebook, Gmail or anything else made me realize just how much we all rely on technology! Holy moly… it’s quite scary actually. First thing I did when I got back was jump on the computer and check my emails… eck… big mistake!!
So now I’m here scratching my head and wondering what I should do. At least I got a good tan wooho!

This competition is international for the first time in 2008 and my song “Nails” was selected as a finalist in the Pop/Rock category.
To vote for my song “Nails” text: Fest4 3 to 83010.
The decision for National Finals will be announced on November 1.
Recording for WordCast 4 has finished and golly gosh… after last week’s computer crashing fiasco with Andy Staines the unfortunate victim (noooooo!) and this week’s Internet-related hissy fit, we pulled out of our gluteus maximi a killer episode so update those podcast feeds tomorrow when this episode is released for some WordCast-related goodness.
In this week’s show, we discuss Neopets’ decision to run the Sloth plot and consider whether the plot really did finish abruptly or whether this is a ploy by The Neopets Team.
Picking up my Law School materials today for this year, I couldn’t help but wonder at the amount of material that there was to read; holy Jebes I think half an acre of forest was felled to print this out for me… and that’s not counting the horrible displacement of marsupial mouses and everything else cute that love to frolic and live in the forest grass.
Without enough material in my arms to last one semester (six months) at Law School, I’m still waiting for my heart attack to occur when I find out the prices for the text books; as I have every year. At least I get a free Law Students Society key ring; anything for that key ring!
A new semeter has officially started and I’m officially excited! There’s nothing like a new semester to bring you back into line and make you feel motivated again. I feel so motivated that I am thinking of taking a stroll down to the Australian registrar and having them change my middle name to Kym “Motivation” Huynh.
The most exciting thing is that I now have my very own locker! That’s right people; for the first time in my university career, I now officially have a locker; one that I can call my very own! OK… so it may be in the sports centre, but it is red… and it is FIERCE!! (I will also admit that I have been watching way too many episodes of Tyra Banks’ “America’s Next Top Model”.)
The project I was talking about yesterday is still secret… but I’m going to hit high gear with it very soon. Uh huh I will, I will, I will.
