Public disruption, indecent exposure, possible trespassing, close calls (having cars nearly run over the equipment), and being chased down alleyways by imaginary Rottweilers? All in a days work for sSalvia; especially when we’re talking about photographing for EP artwork and promotional photos.
With a 6 AM wake up call, wardrobe selection, location scouting and hours of scheduling later, the sSalvia team got together for the sSalvia promotional photo shoot.
Check out some of the behind-the-scenes shots Nancy took of what went down.
A big thanks to Nancy who came along for the day and helped out with wardrobe and James Troi for photographing sSalvia.
We’re celebrating our first ten episodes with not one but two over-the-top “challenges” this week that you can only find on Aimless Agenda. Join Dave, Kym, Christina and a whole lot of pennies (and some slugs too) for one more edition of the wackiest show on the web. Featuring a gadget that will let you know if trash is safe to kiss and a book that makes us cry (but not of joy or sadness), you won’t want to miss it. Plus: An all new News for Nerds, and many, many tortilla chips.

Dave: This is the studio clock I want.
Me: That’s cool.
Dave: Yeah. It’s 6 inches tall.
Me: It’s 6 inches of awesomeness.
Dave: *silence*
Dave Moyer — Chalk it up for another Bitwire Media office accessory.
Dave: I’m going to now run a vocal exciter on you to make you sound excited.
Me: It makes my voice sound aroused?
Dave: Yes you have been aroused. Audio euphemisms eh?
Dave Moyer — Audio euphemisms anyone?

So here I am in bed and blogging on my phone again; mobile blogging gets a little bit addictive. (Especially after the second go.)
Updating from the bed does have it’s little advantages though such as listening to the audiophoric and therapeutic percussive repetition of my fingers on the keys and not knowing what may come out of my mind in this half-exhausted comatose-induced state. All I hope for with both fingers crossed is that some form of finger diarrhea or its alternative thereof doesn’t result whilst at the same time resigning myself to the knowledge that tomorrow, I will need to go through this post again to check for smelling errors.
Inspired or drugged? Bedtime blogging. Genius isn’t it? Who needs bedtime reading when you have bedtime blogging? Forget about reading to your children bedtime stories; have them bedtime blog instead! Let’s be all postmodern and reject established belief of good parenting. Your new child is now your blog and the best thing about this arrangement? If you no longer like your “child”, just put it up for sale ala Oliver Twist — “Boy for saaale… Boy for saaaale…” — or better yet, delete the bugger from existence with few simple clicks of your mouse! (It will be like it never existed.) Perfect.
And with that note, I bid you all adieu.
Que sueñes con los angelitos y conmigo al ladito.

Nine is a funny number. However, Dave can’t tell you why. Make sure you tune in for this week’s show anyway because we’ve got all sorts of great stories; many of them about Christina’s mom. (What else is there to talk about?) Plus: An all new News for Nerds and an event in the making…

Hi everyone out there in the Interwebs and especially to all my crazy stalkers who scare me a little bit but add that extra little bit of zest in my life!!
Gworsh… It has been donkey years since my last blog post so though I would jump online at 2 AM to give you all a little shout out and tell you all that I print out all your emails and keep them in a drawer besides my bed and kiss each and every one of them before I close my eyelids for some good quality rest and relaxation (or some variation thereof).
It is 2 AM and I am absolutely wrecked! These past few weeks have been super hectic with a packed schedule of song writing, recording, rehearsals, acting classes and planning for the sSalvia EP launch in a few weeks. I have two photo shoot sessions next week for both the EP cover and another promo shoot so planning for it from location scouting to dress for the day is keeping me up late every night. (Maybe I can become an eye bag model or something hardy har har.)
One thing I am looking forward to is seeing the change in Simon’s look as I made him go get a haircut before the photo shoot. Go YouTube video threats! Let’s chalk one up for the YouTubers out there shall we? >:)
You may have noticed some changes here, on my Twitter account, Facebook account and MySpace account recently. Everything is being consolidated and updated regularly so now everyone has even more opportunities to stalk me now hurrah! Speaking of which it seems everyone is getting on the Twitter wagon lately. Great to see so many people on it now!! Gotta say it though, my Twitter account is vintage. I was there when it first began. It goes without sayin that we are the technology generation and we gotta embrace social media and all the opportunities it brings for positive social change; for example: (1) Demi Moore helping the suicidal Twitterer find help; (2) Ashton Kutcher highlighting and bringing awareness to various humanitarian issues that he believes to be important and so on and so forth.
As for me, I am happy using Twitter to inform people that I saw a man wear two watches and that my recently renamed puppy, Sir Poop-a-Lot, recently left various “land mines” all over my cousin’s carpeted house on its first, and last, puppy play date. Just waiting until I reach those higher numbers before I start tweeting about spousal abuse and domestic violence and 100 other ways to find inspiration for an album’s worth of songs.
In regards to “Dark and Secret Places” (the movie), filming has been delayed. More rehearsal time for me so nothing much to report except that I recite my lines whilst simultaneously scratching my stomach whilst talking showers. Mmm speaking of water… I haven’t had a bath in yonks. I think it’s about time I did some relaxation.
Catch you all later and keep up the quality stalking; especially to everyone following me on FriendFeed!! I always makes me feel so much better and secure knowing that at any given moment, there is the possibility that there is someone who could be going through my garbage bin.
Kisses to the ladies and high fives to the guys,
Kym
