Beth Skinner Gets Sick; Dave Moyer and Kym Huynh Go Mental

Are you a Twitter fan? Come follow me on Twitter and be one of the nicest kids in town!

With Beth Skinner out of action today as she was sick, myself and Dave Moyer took the reigns to record episode 11 of WordCast. Alas without the gentle guiding hand of someone experienced with television and radio such as Beth Skinner, myself and Dave Moyer proceeded to fill the live recording with music for the masses. (Of course we also recorded a very fantabular show for all the listeners out there.)

Don’t forget to tune in every Tuesday when the episodes are released and if you’re free on Monday evenings, join us live for we record the episodes at 7 PM Pacific Standard Time (USA & Canada). (For announcements of recordings before they occur subscribe to my Twitter feed and I’ll let you know when we’re about to begin.)

Else, I’m in the recording studio this Thursday starting the top secret project I was telling everyone about a few weeks ago so day 1 here we go!

Thanks Laura I like it too. This one was given to me by my uncle. It’s an old one so I thought I’d just paint things on it and decorate it with lots of stickers; give it a bit of personality.

And yes, the Apple sticker is a feature. Go the Apple!

You COULD do that, but the question is, do you really want to? Huh? Huh? Huh?

After all if you did, then where would the cover goodness come from in the future. :)

Actually the photo is mirrored in a very funny way, I’m actually right handed but yes, it does look like I’m rather left handed doesn’t it?

Haha Lauranita what have you been eating/drinking today mmm? :)

My little sister is actually left handed. Did you know a long time ago they use to burn people who was left handed because they were considered witches?

You started off as a left hander? Waaow that’s really cool. This must mean that you are ambidextrous?

What a great skill to have. I wish I was ambidextrous too.

Yepperz…well, kinda. I do nearly everything aside from writing left-handed.
I don’t know how true this is, but supposedly you can train yourself to be ambidextrous by like…eating with your left hand, and then you just start doing everything with either hand.

Ahh yes I heard that too. The thing is, I really don’t want to start cutting paper with scissors like a pre-schooler again. I prefer to stay in the lines with my right hand thanks!

I’ll try using my left hand more this week - see how I go.

I fail miserably at ambidextrousness. But apparently I hold kinfes+fork the left handed way. Knife goes in left hand, fork goes in the other hand. Yeah. I always argue about that. xD

I cut paper with a math(s)-type compass thing.
…Is that so weird? LOL.

Holding the knife and fork that way does, without a doubt, equate to left-landedness. I hold mine the other way hmm… but I do have this little thing I do where I mimic old ladies who use the knife and fork very preciously and then wiggle their bum and they cut their meat into very fine pieces.

I sometimes cut paper by folding and using a knife. You get a cleaner cut that way.

Whoa! Helena, you hold your forks and knives the same as me d: *remembers weird video we watched in class last year* it’s the “European Way” lol. Most people “zigzag”, I guess. Randomzzz

Europeans hold their knives and forks in opposite hands? Noooo can’t be. It is probably just those who are left handed.

What’s this zigzag thing anyway? I cut my food in a straight manner. Up and down. Through and through.
