WordCast received its first review on iTunes today. As with everything, the first of anything is always very, very exciting. The review is as below:
“This trio puts together a very entertaining podcast about WordPress and related products. The show offers lots of exciting tips for new and veteran WordPress users. They are definitely at the top of my list for WordPress podcasts. I just listened to the third podcast and can’t wait to hear the next one. Keep ‘em coming!” — J on iTunes
What makes this even better is that myself, Dave Moyer and Beth Skinner were rated 5/5 stars! Heck yes!
“Girl I Need You” achieved the “impossible” 5/5 star rating from reviewers in GarageBand’s second round of reviews. It is currently in the second round of the active contest and is currently ranked #50 of 267 in pop.
As a result of some very enthusiastic reviews from GarageBand.com members, “Girl, I Need You” will be Track of the Day at GarageBand.com.
For 24 hours on Monday, the 7th of May, 2007 (PST) “Girl, I Need You” will be featured on GarageBand.com’s Pop front page.
“Girl, I Need You” did a bang up job in Round 1 of the Active Contest at GarageBand.com and held its own against some stiff competition.
It was reviewed by folks all over the world, and subject to raw, unfiltered scrutiny from people I didn’t even know… and guess what? They liked it!
The song has a current rating of 4.4/5 which places it in the top 1% of songs. Finishing at #145 in the pop category, it now moves on to Round 2 to see how much further up the charts it can climb.
Let’s hope it moves on to Round 3 and be one step closer to getting played on Yahoo! Launch radio.
Kym has been nominated by his musicians, songwriters and singers for a Golden Kayak Award in the “R&B — Soul” category for one of his earliest songs “Blinded”.

A big thanks to everyone for their support. Voting will take place by academy members next week.
Kym would like to thank everyone for their ongoing support! Kym’s three songs at their peak position during the competition reached to rank 12!
Kym didn’t end up performing on the night but congratulations to Adam Tsen who performed on the night and came 1st runner up in the youth category!
