Music Updates From Adelaide

Hi everyone! This update was actually written a few days ago whilst I was in Adelaide but I just remembered that I needed to push publish so that it would be sent all over the internet (which I remember use to be a word that was capitalized). I’ve been taking a break for a couple of days to spend some time with my history and to see my grass roots.
On the music front, the new songs are currently being mixed and its receipt should herald the finalization of the debut album tracks; I’m really excited about that as it will allow me to kiss my first baby and let it loose in this crazy world, and then start working on my next baby.
Oh before I forget, I also need to start thinking about the album cover art. If any of you guys have any pictures or see any pictures that you think would look good as concept photos for the album, let me know by emailing me or leaving a comment on this post. It can be anything from a way someone is posing to the color of the photo.
In the mean time, I’ve been rehearsing with X-Cape for the upcoming MVOSA Gala 2007 performance this Saturday. A couple of rehearsal videos have been uploaded which includes some singing and dancing so that should satisfy all you guys and gals emailing me asking me for updates!
I’ve also written a new song personally called “What Have We Done?” which I will tell you guys more about over the next few updates. Let’s just say, my professor let me write my essay as a song and I took her up on that opportunity; very cool.

hey kym, last night as i was reading random stuff and i had an idea for the album cover…i decided i wouldn’t be able to describe it very well, so i doodled it

obviously, a real human would be nicer looking than a doodled smiley face. oh, and i forgot to draw this in, but leaving the iris(plural) normal colored, maybe color-enhanced would be pretty cool.

Hey Laura. Thanks for the album concept art! That’s really cool! It feels really funky and retro which fits into the whole happy vibe of a couple of the songs. We’ll see how these new songs turn out and I’ll do some more scouting for concept photos.

It doesn’t bend weird… maybe it is the camera angle haha. If you want to see a weird bended finger, just ask someone who is double jointed to show you.

XD I think Pyra has gotten her mind counfused by your awesome Texas Voice! Your thumb looks normal. The only od thing in the picture is the colors one side it’s like a purple blue then on the other it’s more Pink. Did you photoshop your picutre? o_O

Nope I’m not colourblind. I had a scare the other day though when I thought that I did. Turns out the shirt I was wearing was a mix between yellow and green.
and what colour did you *think* it was…? lol. Knowing you, probably like…purple, or PINK lol.

Ohhh haha. It’s already so big I have to take three photos and stitch them together then shrink so it will fit into a photo. Don’t tease me!!

You know.. I’ve been known to break cameras. What can I say, I’m like the late-night shock-horror show haha.
Laura is most certainly not a cool name. I SHALL NEVER EMBRACE IT! -evil laughter- But, I guess it is somewhat cool–I was actually named after a buffalo. A WHITE buffalo. Who was supposed to bring world peace…but then it died…guess that’s not so great anymore, huh?(No, it’s name was NOT Laura, but somehow my full name translates into “white buffalo” or something. I Don’t really know how that all works out, lol)
Wow this sounds like an interesting story. Who is this white buffalo and what did he or she do?
haha, the buffalo was a ’she’ and named Miracle lol. well, she was born albino, and it is a Native American belief that if a buffalo is born white and turns the color of the six/seven(don’t remember how many, lol) nations, and then back to white again, world peace will come. Well, she had turned all the colors and had four baby buffalo….buffalos…whichever, and then she died about two years ago. So now world peace for us…YET! lol
Wow she changed to all those colours? Holy moly… so … *waits for world peace to come*

no, she had three normal buffalo-coloured buffaloes, and the fourth one was albino(named magic…magic four. yeah i don’t get it either) but she hasn’t changed colours. And world peace will not come yet, at least not from her. She had to turn back white again but died first. I was really sad, lol, I’d gone to see her on several occasions. She was a very pretty buffalo

Kym, i think you’re confused, this has nothing to do with the price of fish, but actually has everything to do with the NUMBER of fish caught last February, and how much said fish sold for, duh! Poor boy…he’s losing it…*shakes head*
No wonder the price of salmon was so high last season… and to think I was getting into the Japanese sushi cuisine when the price went all the way up. Aiyyyyeeee!!!
