Mugshots for WordCast

mug-shot Mugshots for WordCast

So myself and Dave Moyer teamed up again this week to bring everyone episode 12 of WordCast - unfortunately Beth Skinner couldn’t make it this episode and for good reason as well - it is Mother’s Day after all - so it was without the guidance of Beth Skinner again that myself and Dave Moyer took the reigns of this show and somehow turned it into a melting pot of awesomeness starting with our very own mugshot competition. (Although the mugshot is an actual mug and not the mugshot you get done at police stations.)

If you’re a listener to WordCast and wouldn’t mind your chance to win an official WordPress mug in cobalt blue, then listen to episode 12 of WordCast when it is released tomorrow for all the juicylicious details.

The Day WordCast Hell Freezes Over

wordcast-9 The Day WordCast Hell Freezes Over

Good evening Internet! It finally happened! WordCast hell finally froze over and gave me free reign over the the content and production of WordCast episode 9. And by hell freezing over I mean my lovely co-hosts Dave Moyer and Beth Skinner not being available for hosting the episode at the last minute, and myself having free reign over this episode as me having free reign over this episode. So there you have it, me in front of a microphone with lots of hours to spare babbling nonsensical things about the latest and greatest in all that is WordPress; After all 9 out of 10 nutritionists recommend that kids use WordPress. (Helps with the indigestion.)

So tell me, do you think I took advantage of the free air time I had? Of course I did! Not only did I enjoy listening to myself talk for nearly 20 minutes (not having two other hosts to banter with really makes the episodes short) but I had the pleasure of my family thinking I was crazy for talking to myself non-stop for 20 minutes. I did get very thirsty however.

Hope you’re all having a lovely time out there Internet and episode 9 of WordCast will be released on Tuesday.

WordCast Gets its First Review

wordcast-review WordCast Gets its First Review

WordCast received its first review on iTunes today. As with everything, the first of anything is always very, very exciting. The review is as below:

“This trio puts together a very entertaining podcast about WordPress and related products. The show offers lots of exciting tips for new and veteran WordPress users. They are definitely at the top of my list for WordPress podcasts. I just listened to the third podcast and can’t wait to hear the next one. Keep ‘em coming!” - J on iTunes

What makes this even better is that myself, Dave Moyer and Beth Skinner were rated 5/5 stars! Heck yes!
