Hi everyone out there in the Interwebs and especially to all my crazy stalkers who scare me a little bit but add that extra little bit of zest in my life!!
Gworsh… It has been donkey years since my last blog post so though I would jump online at 2 AM to give you all a little shout out and tell you all that I print out all your emails and keep them in a drawer besides my bed and kiss each and every one of them before I close my eyelids for some good quality rest and relaxation (or some variation thereof).
It is 2 AM and I am absolutely wrecked! These past few weeks have been super hectic with a packed schedule of song writing, recording, rehearsals, acting classes and planning for the sSalvia EP launch in a few weeks. I have two photo shoot sessions next week for both the EP cover and another promo shoot so planning for it from location scouting to dress for the day is keeping me up late every night. (Maybe I can become an eye bag model or something hardy har har.)
One thing I am looking forward to is seeing the change in Simon’s look as I made him go get a haircut before the photo shoot. Go YouTube video threats! Let’s chalk one up for the YouTubers out there shall we? >:)
You may have noticed some changes here, on my Twitter account, Facebook account and MySpace account recently. Everything is being consolidated and updated regularly so now everyone has even more opportunities to stalk me now hurrah! Speaking of which it seems everyone is getting on the Twitter wagon lately. Great to see so many people on it now!! Gotta say it though, my Twitter account is vintage. I was there when it first began. It goes without sayin that we are the technology generation and we gotta embrace social media and all the opportunities it brings for positive social change; for example: (1) Demi Moore helping the suicidal Twitterer find help; (2) Ashton Kutcher highlighting and bringing awareness to various humanitarian issues that he believes to be important and so on and so forth.
As for me, I am happy using Twitter to inform people that I saw a man wear two watches and that my recently renamed puppy, Sir Poop-a-Lot, recently left various “land mines” all over my cousin’s carpeted house on its first, and last, puppy play date. Just waiting until I reach those higher numbers before I start tweeting about spousal abuse and domestic violence and 100 other ways to find inspiration for an album’s worth of songs.
In regards to “Dark and Secret Places” (the movie), filming has been delayed. More rehearsal time for me so nothing much to report except that I recite my lines whilst simultaneously scratching my stomach whilst talking showers. Mmm speaking of water… I haven’t had a bath in yonks. I think it’s about time I did some relaxation.
Catch you all later and keep up the quality stalking; especially to everyone following me on FriendFeed!! I always makes me feel so much better and secure knowing that at any given moment, there is the possibility that there is someone who could be going through my garbage bin.
Kisses to the ladies and high fives to the guys,
Kym
