Random.

Wish I could tell you guys what’s going on in the pipeline… wish I could… but I can’t. Not yet.
Coming soon… to a screen near you… one man… one choice… one destiny…

It was a roaringly good gathering/reunion this week at WordCamp Dallas with many WordCast and Bitwire Media friends and family meeting up to kick it old-school and talk WordPress and blogging.

In attendance was our very own Dave Moyer, Lorelle VanFossen, Liz Strauss and Jonathan Bailey. Jeff Chandler, Jacob Santos and I tuned in by live streaming courtesy of Cali Lewis (thanks Cali!) from GeekBrief.TV.

If you’re a blogging fiend and love WordPress (the latter is not necessary but recommended), I encourage you to check out a WordCamp… any WordCamp.
Pearls of wisdom from recognized industry professionals, the ability to pick their brains, free food, goodies and the opportunity to network and make new friends… it’s a no-brainer!
Public disruption, indecent exposure, possible trespassing, close calls (having cars nearly run over the equipment), and being chased down alleyways by imaginary Rottweilers? All in a days work for sSalvia; especially when we’re talking about photographing for EP artwork and promotional photos.
With a 6 AM wake up call, wardrobe selection, location scouting and hours of scheduling later, the sSalvia team got together for the sSalvia promotional photo shoot.
Check out some of the behind-the-scenes shots Nancy took of what went down.
A big thanks to Nancy who came along for the day and helped out with wardrobe and James Troi for photographing sSalvia.

I just found all these random studio shots on my computer. I don’t know where they came from… they’re popping up everywhere; like daisies.

Blog.

Check out some of the shots from songwriting for the sSalvia project from Thursday last week. I did the heavy duty thing this time by taking out the heavy duty camera to take some shots; heavy duty in this case meaning not using my iPhone. Speaking of which, is it just me or does everyone have an iPhone these days?

Simon at the desk where the songwriting and magic happens.

I don’t know what Simon is trying to do. Trying to grab the camera perhaps?

Deciding that there wasn’t enough photos of me… Simon takes over the camera whilst I lay down some rough vocals…

… and then decide to go mental… for fun.

I don’t know what Simon is doing here…

I’m setting up the Twitter account here for the sSalvia project and Simon gets super excited about Twitter.
